We all know that art has a way of transforming a space, but for a long time it felt like owning original artwork was out of reach. If a piece had real history or provenance, it often came with a price tag that made it inaccessible to most people.

OTTO was created to change that.

The idea is simple: make it easier to discover original, characterful artwork that people genuinely connect with, without the barriers that so often come with buying art.

Why Art?

I've always been passionate about the creativity, whether that's music, theatre or writing but paintings have always stood out to me. I love that every piece tells its own story and that no two are ever the same. The medium of brush to canvas feels so organic and natural.

For me, collecting art isn't about following trends or filling empty walls. It's about finding pieces that grab you by the shoulders and shake you. Pieces that you'll enjoy living with for years to come and likely pass down. 

Sourcing

Between packing your orders, we spend much of our time sourcing artwork from across Europe, searching French flea markets, exploring old English barns, and visiting Swedish auction houses to uncover pieces with history, character and individuality. 

There is a romance to art collection, every piece is carefully selected because we fell in love also.
