A beautifully composed mid-century still life depicting a vibrant arrangement of chrysanthemums displayed in a rounded clear glass vase. Painted in a harmonious palette of soft sage green, warm ochre, cream, burnt orange and muted earthy browns, the composition possesses a gentle elegance and timeless decorative appeal.

Executed with confident, expressive brushwork, the artist captures the delicate texture of the blooms while subtle reflections within the glass vase add depth and luminosity. The restrained background allows the rich floral arrangement to become the focal point, creating a calm and sophisticated composition.

Signed lower right by Swedish artist Gottfrid Olsson, the painting is presented in its original vintage frame with a softly textured bronze and pewter finish, complementing the artwork beautifully. Ready to hang.
