A charming mid-century still life depicting a green glass wine bottle, a glazed earthenware jug and two pieces of fruit arranged on softly draped white linen. Painted in a rich palette of olive green, burgundy, warm ochre, burnt orange and cool blue-grey, the composition has a timeless decorative appeal.

Executed with confident palette knife work and thick impasto, the painting has wonderful texture and depth, with expressive brushwork bringing warmth and character to this classic still life. The balanced composition and harmonious colours make it a versatile piece.

Presented in a vintage painted wooden frame with a softly distressed off-white finish, complementing the painting beautifully and ready to hang.
