Arne Aspelin (1911-1990) was a Swedish painter best known for his expressive landscapes and rural scenes. His works continue to appear at Scandinavian auction houses and are appreciated for their decorative appeal and painterly character.

Very good vintage condition. The canvas is secure and the paint surface is stable with only light age-related wear consistent with its age. Recently framed and presented in excellent display condition, ready to hang.
